The values, culture, mission, and performance that our partners and small business owners have come to expect from us will not change. In fact, they will be amplified.
Colorado Lending Source’s legacy will live on through the B:Side brand, offering small business loans in Colorado and beyond with a renewed focus on our mission.
Colorado Lending Source has come a long way since we first started lending to small businesses in 1990 and we will go even further over the next 30 years as B:Side Capital and B:Side Fund.
It’s a new era for Colorado Lending Source, which is why we decided to take on a new look to help provide further clarity, vision, and offerings for all of our stakeholders.
Why B:Side?
Some of us are old enough to remember the days before streaming music or even CDs. Yes, we're talking about the age of vinyl records and cassette tapes….
The A-side always featured the popular radio-friendly hits that we all knew and loved.
The B-side, however, was where the deep cuts resided. These were the songs written for true fans who had the patience and dedication to look a little deeper.
We like to think of ourselves as true fans of small business. We relish the opportunity to look at the B-sides of the business world, those companies that might not always be the bank-friendly slam dunk. We go deeper and find those hidden gems who would otherwise be overlooked and unable to access traditional bank lending. That's why we call ourselves B:Side.
